TEMITAYO
GEORGE-BENSON stage name TEMITAYO is West Africa’s own sensational Afro
Pop, Inspirational Performing Artist. She competed in the 1st Season of
West African Idols and emerged 2nd runner up out of thousands.
She
is the 2nd daughter of Capt Jide George, Chairman Goldmyne
International and Rev. Mrs Dele George the founder of Little Saints
Orphanage. Temitayo is passionate about leaving a great legacy of
Inspirational music, she is also a devout Christian and humanitarian.
Born in Britain and raised both in Nigeria and abroad, she plans to use
her experiences/platform of fame to make international impact especially
in the lives of abused and abandoned children. She is a Role
model/mentor to youths and her many spiritual brothers and sisters at
the Little Saints Orphanage.
Temitayo’s name
means ‘She brings Joy’ which is highly apparent from her joyful
personality and thrilling stage performances. She believes that her
dance and musical abilities are gifts from God and she plans to use them
in excellent and memorable ways. Temitayo believes in inspirational
dance music. Songs that not only make you dance all night but also leave
you with a message that will penetrate your heart and affect your mind
and emotions consistently in a positive way.
Temitayo
is truly an inspiration, passionate, attractive, aiming for the stars
and set to stir positive emotions in people worldwide through her
inspirational songs. Her glamorous style & sweet personality keeps
endearing her to many more fans all across the globe.
Her
first mainstream video was titled ‘Love Revealed’. Song was written by
Temitayo and produced by TheorySound. The video was shot by Joel Benson
(JB Multimedia) and received great reviews.
Her
second video, which came out early 2014 is titled ‘In Your Hands’. It
was produced by multi-talented, music producer ‘Theorysound’. It was co
written by Temitayo and Theorysound. It’s a song that reminds us all
that God is in control of everything. In life, although we all face many
trials, hardtimes, disappointments and failures, through it all we’re
always in God Hands. No matter what we go through, all we have to do is
turn to God, Seek His Face and He will turn things around in our favor.
He will always show us a way where there seems to be none.
Temitayo
has a Brand new song out now titled ‘Roll Out The Carpet’. Its a highly
inspirational and timeless, classic also produced by 'TheorySound' and
written by A'dam a gifted musician and lyricist. Temitayo wanted a song
that served as a tribute to all the special people in our world that
deserve recognition e.g God, her fans, family, sponsors, the media, high
achievers in society…everyone who has achieved notable feats in their
lives, those who invest in and strive to make impact in the lives of
others including artistes like Temitayo. She wanted a song of gratitude
and celebration to remind the world that without these special people in
our lives we wouldn't be where we are today as individuals and as a
nation.
