So Sad! How Taiwo Oshadipe Died, Revealed!

According to what her twin sister reportedly told a journalist, Taiwo died in the early hours of friday the 3rd of October in her sleep. She said Taiwo had fallen ill about three weeks ago and had been treated at a Lagos hospital. She was getting better and seemed okay when she went to sleep last night only for her not to wake up.

Moving Train Crushes Woman To Death At Iganmu [See Photo]

A middle-aged woman has been crushed to death by a moving train in Iganmu area of Lagos, authorities at the Nigeria Railway Corporation have said.
According to the Lagos District Manager of the corporation, Mr Akin Osinowo, the incident occurred on Thursday evening when the woman attempted to jump on a moving train.
He said the yet-to-be identified woman jumped down from a tricycle conveying her and hurried to catch an Apapa-Ijoko bound train but fell off the train while struggling to get on it.
Osinowo said that the woman may have died as a result of injuries she sustained from the fall.

“As I am speaking to you, I cannot say the extent of damage she would have encountered but I can say that the case has been reported to the police at the railway compound, Ebute Metta.

“I also learnt that some people came to claim the corpse yesterday (Thursday) but they were advised to get proof of ownership and I do not know if they are back this morning”, he said.

T.B Joshua warns people to stop talking bad about his church, claims he saw building collapse coming

                                 

During his Sunday September 28th message to his church members, prophet T.B Joshua said he saw theFriday 12th church building collapse happen in a vision. He also warned people to desist from speaking bad about the church and questioning his calling. He said those who are speaking evil of his ministry will suffer for it. "Good morning church and viewers all over the world. I want to thank you for your prayer and your love for the victims and relations of all those involved in the incident. 

The battle is for the Lord. I really want to thank God. God has been doing so much. We need to know a thousand victories, all the way long. Glory and honour to God Almighty. 

For those who are outside the Lord, they would not know. When you are outside God, you will not know what I am talking about. When you are outside the light, you can’t understand what I am talking about.

For the three weeks before the incident, if you heard my message and sat down, you would know I was giving you a vision and prophetic Word on how to handle the situation at hand. Trials and tests are meant for our belief. I go by the directives of God.

I salute the martyrs of faith and the victims. I also salute their relations. My love and my prayers are always with them. The martyrs, victims and their relations, what they would like to see is the work of God continue. That is what they died for, suffered for and are living for.

From your heart, commit the relations of the martyrs to God. Ask God to strengthen them and open their understanding more to know and understand what happened here. Ask God to give them the grace to continue in God. In Him we live; in Him we move. Ask God to give them the grace to continue the work of salvation.

Remember the victims in one way or the other and ask for God’s intervention. Ask God for His power of resurrection within them and outside them, in Jesus Christ’s name we pray.

Remain silent and give thanks to God, within you. I want you to change your confession and give thanks to God.

Listen to God, not men. Don’t let your faith be disturbed. If anyone wants to disturb your faith with their negative words and message, remember God. See the need of God the more. See the need of serving the Lord the more, the need of moving closer to Him.

Don’t be disturbed. Pray for the relations; pray for the victims. That is your assignment – your love and prayer for the victims and the relations of the martyrs. That is your duty at this time.

Don’t allow yourself to be used by satan. If you do, satan will use his people to run to you and disturb you the more. This is an opportunity for them to disturb your faith with their negative words. Those who hate you and those who want you to die will run after you because of this issue. It is not that they love you but they want to see your countenance, your appearance, how you look and whether you are worried. Never allow this. Remember Jesus. Don’t change your words in a moment. Jesus is Lord.

What you saw happen - God is aware. If God is aware, who else is aware does not matter. The martyrs, victims and relations want to see your faith grow; they want to see the work of salvation and the work of God in your life continue. They want to see you serve the Lord the more. The only way you can allow the work of God to continue is to be with yourself and God, not to allow intruders and people around you to advise you and tell you what to do when they could not stop what happened.

I pray the satanic agents should be the only ones to suffer this. I said, our God will get back to them. Warn your family and brothers about their talk. You will know I am a man of God this time. People who are looking for your downfall and run to disturb your spirit, warn them to be careful of their tongues and the people who come to them. God is a God of vengeance – anybody can go for it.

You cannot help me, only God. Don’t disturb me; please leave me with God. You will see the outcome. Madness! Female Tenant Bites Off Landlord’s Lip [See Photo]

 

26- year old woman Chinyere Umebionyo has been arrested and arraigned before an Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court for allegedly biting off the lip off her landlord Augustine Nkwazema, in Ejigbo, Lagos.
Chinyere became angry when she returned from work and saw that her door had been removed by the landlord. She reportedly grabbed Augustine and bit off his lip.
Nkwazema was taken to a hospital where his lip was stitched. Chinyere explained that Nkwazema removed the door to her apartment while she was at work because she could not pay the balance of N2,400 she owed him as rent.

Singer Lara George speaks on challenges of marriage and the time she was fed up

Speaking to Encomium magazine on the challenges of marriage, singer Lara George recalled a period in her 10 year old marriage where she was fed up and had to turn to her pastor for guidance...

"There were many times like that. We have had our fair share. I remember a time we weren't talking to each other. It got really serious I had to call my pastor that I was fed up of my marriage. I can remember that my pastor was not around then but he spoke to my husband that Jesus loves the church unconditionally and things were sorted out. I am glad my husband allowed someone he sees as a mentor to step into the situation" she said

On the challenges she's faced in the last 10 years of being married to her husband, Gbenga George, Lara said understanding each other has been a major challenge for her

"Understanding one another has been a challenge for me. It is not as if I don't understand him, but there are different types of communication and understanding. When communication is complete, it means we have completed the journey. Man allegedly rapes 20yr old girl and uploads her nude pics online

The Lagos state Police command has arrested 30 year old Olaniyan Oluwakayode (pictured above) after he allegedly raped a 20 year old girl at his apartment in the Ifako Ijaiye area of Lagos on Tuesday September 16th and then allegedly posted nude pics of the girl online.

According to Vanguard, Olaniyan, a native of Osun state, claimed the rape victim who hails from Akwa Ibom state was his girlfriend but the girl denied this, claiming that he was a random guy who had asked her out but she refused.

"I have my own boyfriend. He is a guy that used to stop me any time I was going to work. He approached me for friendship and I refused. I did not go to his house as he alleged. On my way back from work Tuesday last week, I saw someone running out of his house. He held my hand saying he wanted to do what was on his mind. I asked him why he would do what was on his mind when I had not even accepted his advances. He insisted and dragged me inside the bush. When I wanted to shout, he brought out a knife and said he would kill me there. From the bush, he dragged me to his house and locked the door. He used his legs to hold my neck, tore my skirt, my pants and bra, beat me up, and then raped me. When Oluwakayode’s sister came back around to 9pm, she asked her brother to open the door, asking him if he wanted to kill me. He has been asking me out for a long time. I was never his girlfriend. I have my own boyfriend. He raped me; painfully. Even his sister was crying and he snapped me immediately and his sister even threatened to call his mother.” the victim said 

Olaniyan was arrested by officers of the Ifako Ijaiye Police station and transferred to the Ministry of Women Affairs. In his defence, Olaniyan claimed the girl was his girlfriend and that they only fought but he never raped her

"I only fought with my girlfriend (the victim), but they are accusing me of raping her. I never deny the fact that I snapped her picture when she was naked. We were fighting. Any other allegation levelled against me is a big lie. The only thing I did, which I do not deny, is that I took her nude photographs. She had been hurting me for a very long period and we had an issue which made me delete her number from my phone. Last week, I got a missed call. I called the number immediately. When I heard her voice, I asked her what she wanted. I met her passing by in June and when I asked for her phone number, she gave it to me. She even came to my house and we sat outside and talked. She agreed to date me. There was a day we spoke on phone and she was asking me if I had an apartment. I told her that I didn’t want to rush into anything that I wanted to settle down in my business. I do branding in my house at Ifako. They said I raped her; one thing is that I have conscience and she also has conscience: our conscience will judge. I never denied beating her. I did beat her with my head on her face and on her back when she held my manhood. All the allegations of bringing out powder, a knife and belt are lies. I have conscience and she has too. That’s all.” he said

Police Detonate two explosive devices at University of Uyo

The police command in Akwa Ibom said it had detonated two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) found in the male hostel of University of Uyo. Confirming the incident in Uyo on Monday, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Etim Dickson, told newsmen that the explosives were home-made.

Dickson, who said that the IEDs were likely produced by science students of the university, said investigations had commenced on the matter.

He assured the students on campus and parents not to entertain any fear about possible breakdown of law and order in the university community.

He said “the incident has been properly taken care of, we urge students and employees of the institution to go about their normal businesses.”

The IEDs were discovered by the campus security squad known as Operatives of Peace on Campus Initiative (PCI).

The Anti-Bomb Squad of the Nigeria Police had on arrival at the students’ hostel detonated the two improved explosive devices and conducted a search round the other hostel rooms.

“Abubakar Shekau” killed was one Bashir Mohammed - SR

A Nigerian military intelligence source has told SaharaReporters that the top Boko Haram figure killed in a recent operation was one Bashir Mohammed, leader of the Islamist sect’s Uye camp.

Cameroonian authorities yesterday released a photo of a dead man they identified as Abubakar Shekau, the loquacious and attention-seeking leader of the terrorist group that has launched deadly strikes in Nigeria’s northeast zone as well as Cameroon. The Nigerian intelligence source told SaharaReporters that Nigerian soldiers, not Cameroonian troops, had killed Mr. Bashir last Friday in a fierce battle against Boko Haram insurgents in Konduga, Borno State. The late Mr. Bashir, who bore a striking resemblance to Abubakar Shekau and had appeared in a recent video, was killed as he led insurgents who were attempting to capture Konduga and then made a bid to seize Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, as well.
Nigerian soldiers routed the Islamist militants in Konduga, killing hundreds of them and capturing weapons as well as vehicles abandoned by fleeing insurgents. The military as well as Nigerian government-appointed negotiators claim that the original Mr. Shekau had died since last year, reportedly assassinated by his lieutenants. The intelligence source said Mr. Bashir had adopted Mr. Shekau’s nom deguere and had been the person responsible for issuing video messages in recent times. Even though our source said the military was cautious not to claim credit for Mr. “Shekau’s” death, he added that the Nigerian military was buoyed by the capture of the armored tank usually displayed in the background of recent videos issued by the sect’s spokesman.

"Private and public schools in Lagos State To resume October 8th!" - Governor Fashola!

Governor Babatunde Fashola approved the new resumption date at a stakeholders’ forum held Sunday, at Lagos Television Blue Roof, Agindigbi, Ikeja. The forum was attended by headteachers and principals of  schools in the state.

According to the governor, the postponement is to allow for adequate distribution of Ebola preventive materials in schools across the state.

Ban on police road-blocks/check-points still in force - IG of police

The police road blocks in Lagos is so annoying. And according to this press release signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, the ban on the road blocks is still in force. Guess the police officers we see on the roads didn't get the memo. Find the press release below..

The Inspector-General of Police, Acting IGP Suleiman Abba, has stated unequivocally that the order banning the setting up of Police road-blocks nationwide is still strictly in force. In a directive issued to all Commands and Formations of the Force, the IGP warned that all semblances of Police road-blocks and permanent check-points reportedly re-emerging in some parts of the country, especially in the South-East, South-South and South-West geo-political zones of Nigeria should immediately be dismantled.

The IGP who described the trend as a serious violation of subsisting order on road-blocks warned that severe sanctions await any Police Commands, Formations and personnel who violate the order.

While charging the Command Commissioners of Police and Heads of Formations to ensure total compliance with this order, the IGP further orders extensive visibility patrol and effective surveillance on our roads.

Man commits suicide in Ekiti state after two failed attempts

After two failed attempts to kill himself in the last three years, a man said to be in his 30s named Mundiu (pictured above) finally succeeded in killing himself yesterday September 19th.

According to Sun News, Mundiu killed himself in the hall way of his compound in Ayede-Ekiti community in Oye local government of Ekiti state around in the early hours of yesterday morning.

According to one of his neighbors, Muntiu had always complained of being poor and unsuccessful and was said to be very frustrated. A day before he killed himself, he mentioned to neighbours that they will be witnessing drama on Friday but no one knew he was talking about him killing himself...

 "He used to complain about the fact that he was very poor and living a wretched life, that he wasn’t making money to take care of himself. Two months ago, he had an okada (motor­cycle) accident that almost claimed his life. He was moved out of the community for treat­ment. Two weeks ago, we learnt that he was dead but just three days ago, we sighted him in the community. Yesterday (Thurs­day), people heard him saying that by today (Friday) the peo­ple of Ayede community would witness an amazing drama. No one really read any meaning to what he was saying. We didn’t know that he was referring to this suicidal action”, a resident of the area said Another neighbour of the deceased said the first time he tried killing himself, it was his father who was alive then that saved him Mundiu. He also tried killing himself the second time by jumping into the river in Lokoja “It was past 12 midnight this morning, a deaf neighbour of the deceased, who we call Taiwo, raised the alarm that he saw something strange and alerted others to come and see it. We were asking him what it was that happened but because he could not hear us, he didn’t answer us. All we did was to just follow him to where he was directing our attention to. Eventually, he took us to where the deceased had hanged himself. He was already dead by that time. So, we just left him as you have seen him. We immediately called the police but as you can see, they haven’t come. Mundiu had attempted sui­cide two times before now. The first time, he had tried to hang himself but thankfully, his fa­ther caught him and stopped it. Since then, his father had kept the rope as an object of re­membrance. Now his father is dead and could not witness this abominable act, he has eventu­ally committed. His second attempt at kill­ing himself was a time we were told he just jumped into a river. That happened in Lokoja, Kogi State. God had brought people on time to rescue him. This was his third time and no one was there to stop him, “ the neigh­bour said.

The victims got missing on May 10 after which the family spent three weeks searching for them before eventually reporting to the po­lice on June 13. 

For five days, despite all kinds of rigorous interrogations he was subjected to, Olatunji maintained that he was innocent. Not deterred by his tears and call on the almighty God to de­liver him from what he described as injustice, Head of the SARS team, Abba Kyari insisted that the suspect’s confession was not coherent, hence the need for further interrogation.

On the sixth day, he cracked. Olatunji ad­mitted that he knew where the missing Angela and her daughter were and was ready to take the police to them in Ijebu Ode.

She was brought to my clinic by her friend who I assisted in the past. This was six years ago. She was very sick then. She had a spiritual attack also known as ofa in Yoruba. It is sent by evil people, in form of an evil arrow. Her body will turn black and will be itching her ceaselessly. People are very wicked.
“Then she had retired from the Customs service. I tried my best and God answered her prayer. She was very excited and decided to make me her spiritual father. She started pa­tronizing me, even if it was common headache. I was also the one who gave her herbs that cured her fibroid completely.”

“She was never married and does not have children but along the line, she adopted a girl. This did not satisfy her quest for a child.

“Four years after we met, she came to me saying she has been unable to bear children. She said that other places she had been told that she can still have children. She was more than 60 years then. I told her that if she had come when she was 50 it would have been easy. I tried to convince her but she insisted that her instincts told her that I am the one that will make her pastors’ prophecy to come to pass.

Around May last year, she started a serious complaint, saying she has spent money on this. I told her that since she has adopted a child that she shouldn’t worry about it. Two months later she came and said her pastor said if she puts effort into it, she will have children. I asked why she is bent on doing that since she is not married. She said she has boyfriends. That she wants her boy­friends to be responsible for the child. She said she had already spent N15 million on it.”

 I knew at that moment that she will spend anything to get her desire and if I do not benefit from this moment, another man will collect the same money from her. I then told her that it will cost her about N10 million to make her wish come through.The following week she came with N1.7 mil­lion. She paid the money gradually. I started my job. She said she has faith in me. She told me she saw her menstruation. She was around 63 as she said. I told her to wait for the second one and try to meet her man af­ter. She said some of her boyfriends were in London. So, she invited one of them. When he came she told me he has arrived. The man came and left and she wasn’t still preg­nant. Around April this year, she came. She said she wanted to tell me something. She said she wanted to stop taking the medicine. That time, she had already paid N9 million. I encouraged her to continue for another two years since she has faith in me.”

 She said she didn’t want to continue. She said she wanted her money back. I told her it’s not possible. She started threatening that she will come. She said she will be back with full force. I thought she was joking. We have never quarrelled. I was alarmed because I suspected that other trado medical doctors that she has been visiting could have bewitched her. She came again with her daughter to collect her money and threatened me. I was frightened by the way she was talking. I knew that as a Custom officer, she has a gun. I thought I should let her go to the police. She threatened she would report me. So, I let her go that day. Three days later, she came the same way with her daughter.
“That day, I had to go to my house and gave her N2.5 million. She said by the next day, she will come and she did. She asked for the balance and I told her that she should leave me alone that I have other cases. She warned she will come in two days’ time and that when she does, it would be hell. So, I thought about it and prepared for her. That’s when the evil thought that landed me here came.”

 “I wanted to report to the police but I knew that if I mentioned about the N6 million left I will be in trouble. I knew it was impos­sible for me to use a knife or gun to kill a human being created by God. She arrived as promised ranting and threatening hell. I went behind and covered that well with a mat and white cloth. I prayed to God to calm her down so that she will obey me. I came back to the living room and pleaded again that I will surely give her the money the next day. God heard my prayer and she calmed down. I told her to join me and pray at the backyard. She loves praying, so it was very easy to persuade her.

“I asked her to kneel down on the white cloth… She drew the child, I asked her to leave the child behind. I moved the child back. Before I could stop her she had al­ready moved the girl with her and they knelt on the mat. Then I heard her shout ‘yeeee’as she fell into the deep well. She was scream­ing, and I had to move quickly and started packing sand into the well. It was getting late as at that time. I was able to pour in 50 buckets and was tired and terrified. I rushed to the mosque to pray and ask God for for­giveness. When I returned, I discovered that the girl was already on the surface of the sand. There was no way she could climb out because the well was still very deep. I had to silence her or she will tell the world what I did. I threw in heavy blocks till she became silent. I kept pouring sand till the well was filled up. The following day I called some labourers to seal off the place. I had to go to Jankara to see if I can sell the car,” 

 In the cell, I met all kinds of hardened criminals who were already re­pentant. They shared their testimonies with me, and advised that the only way God can ensure that I will live again is if I confess to the crime. I realised that my days will be longer here if they were not found. I would have been released at Oko Oba police sta­tion, if not that the family insisted that the case should be transferred to SARS. I felt that since there was no witness to the crime, I will be treated as an innocent man.”

 Plea for mercy

He blamed evil spirits sent by his ene­mies as the ones responsible for his ordeal. “I want the family to forgive me. If you see my heart, you will understand. I couldn’t even sleep in the house. This kind of thing has never happened to me before. If you ask anybody around there who I am, they will tell you. My job is to heal. It’s the devil. I didn’t do it with my normal mind.
“She saw me as her spiritual father. I also assisted her to sell her house at Omole which we did at the cost of N74 million. She later bought a house at Agege at the price of N8million and also spent about N9 million. Initially, it was bought in my name because she never trusted her family members; she said she wanted to travel to America with her daughter.

HER BROTHER SPEAKS
 Her immediate elder brother, Dr Mike Idida Kerry told Saturday Sun that the late Angela was very close to him till her current lifestyle drove her away from the family.

“It is his word against hers and my sister is not here to defend herself. However, I gathered that Alhaji Olatunji, one Lizzy and one other Babatunde were involved in an oil block deal that did not turn out well. Part of the deal was that they will build a house for her at Banana Island. It was all fraud, they ended up killing her. The Angela that I knew was not desperate about having children. The only thing that happened was that the herbal doctors that she had faith in hypnotized her and she for­got her family.”

She is my younger sister and was born in 1948. She is currently 66 years. We are from Abonina in Rivers State. We grew up in the North, then my mother was working at the Local Authority Hospital, Gusau. This was where they were born. After the war, we came down to Enugu till we finally returned to Rivers State.

“It was after the war that she enrolled into Customs and rose to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs. She retired in 2004, having served the nation for 35 years. She had several relationships that almost re­sulted in a marriage but never did. She had several miscarriages till I was told that she adopted a child

“As soon as we buried our mother 13 years ago, she started staying away from her siblings. I was not comfortable with her lifestyle and that caused a friction between us. In fact, I have not seen her in person again till I was called that she was missing. She started visiting different herbalists in the name of getting protection and eleva­tion while at Customs. It appears that those who are in uniformed organisations result in fetish acts in search of protection and elevation. She was even struck with an ill­ness and was brought home to Rivers State where she was finally cured,” 

On the allegation that her family wanted her dead to inherit her wealth, Dr Kerry said:

 “If the family wanted her dead, why did they not kill her soon after she left the Customs in 2004. They knew that if she was close to her family, it will not be easy to ex­tort money from her. She is my blood sister and was close to me. When I heard that she was missing, I thought she had travelled out without anyone’s knowledge, I never knew she was buried alive all this while.

“If he was sincere, why did he buy a property for her in his name? The so-called house is a wretched place located by the canal. It will be sold and the money shared among her niece and nephews. I do not know why Alhaji Olatunji has decided to accept the blame alone. I guess that they took an oath not to disclose one another be­cause I am very sure that there was a con­spiracy.
“I am a lecturer; I got my Ph.D in 1986. I taught in the same college of education with President Goodluck Jonathan. I do not need her property because I have a far better life than she did. I am an associate professor at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
“Our main concern is how to bury her in the shortest possible time as the cost of keeping her in a morgue has doubled. They liquidated her resources before killing her and the little girl.”

“I Don’t Have any N40 million Hotel In Abeokuta” Popular Actor, Odunlade Adekola Cries Out

Odunlade Adekola has rubbished the runour that he has just built a hotel in Abeokuta, Ogun State worth 40 million naira.
According to the speculation, “The versatile actor began the construction of the project – allegedly within the range of N40 million – around Adigbe axis at Abeokuta in Ogun State about a year ago. Claiming that funds for the hotel was from some of the endorsement deals he garnered while he was a of Globacom ambassador and currently with Ogun State government. The hotel will be officially opened in two weeks, the rumour further reports that when contacted, Odunlade refused to confirm or deny the report.”
The light complexioned actor has finally opened up on the rumour to yorubamoviegist.com that there is nothing of such. “Well, I claimed it because it is a good thing and that is a sign of victory for me, he explains. It is a sign of victory in the sense that I will someday build one. Though, I have been hearing a lot about that but I want to confirm to you that I have not build any hotel anywhere let alone of Abeokuta as it was reported. They even indicated the amount I spent on it, 40 million naira, I appreciate and claim the money but I don’t have any hotel anywhere. I wouldn’t know where they got that and probably may be they were referring to my house which does not in any way looks like a hotel”.
